Manlius Pebble Hill joins local teams in state soccer rankings

The Manlius Pebble Hill Trojans (9-1) made their way into this week’s state Class C boys soccer rankings, entering the poll at No. 8.

There’ s a major matchup tonight between the top Class B teams from Section III, as No. 8 Cazenovia visits No. 9 Skaneateles (6-2) for a 7 p.m. rematch.

Cazenovia (10-1) suffered its only setback of the season to its Liberty League rival, a 2-0 home loss on Sept. 5.

In Class AA, undefeated Fayetteville-Manlius (100) remains at No. 8 in the large-school classification. The Hornets visit Corcoran today and are home against Cicero-North Syracuse on Thursday evening.

Class AA: Nottingham, No. 14.

Class A:Christian Brothers Academy, No. 15, Fowler, No. 18;

Class B:Clinton, No. 20;

Class C:Notre Dame, No. 10, Sauquoit Valley, No. 12;

Class D:O.D. Young, No. 3, Copenhagen, No. 16 and McGraw, No. 17.
