Manlius Pebble Hill School Class of 2020: See list of graduates, meet senior class president
Tens of thousands of high school students across Central New York will graduate shortly in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic that dramatically changed the second half of their senior year. They had no in-person classes, no proms, no sports, and most will have no chance to walk across the stage at commencements. To celebrate the Class of 2020, we are publishing lists of the graduates from more than 60 schools in the heart of New York state. We also will report who is the valedictorian and salutatorian (or alternate) for and giving them a chance to share some thoughts about school, the pandemic, family and life. (The Q&A with MPH’s senior class president is below the list of graduates.)

Senior Class President
Name: Nathan Sonnenfeld
Town: Fayetteville
Parents: David Sonnenfeld and Kathleen McGrath
My plans for the next few years: I’ll be attending Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, thinking of majoring in operations and information management, and possibly finance, marketing, administration to complement it.
My career plans: Unsure of specifics, but wherever I end up I’d like to contribute to (or spearhead) sustainability efforts and increase the company’s emphasis on social responsibility.
The highlight of my senior year: Concluding my time with MPH’s Model UN team attending an international conference in NYC this past February.
The person who inspired me the most: Past members of my school’s MUN team, who have shown me how to balance work and play, all while keeping the “bigger picture” in mind. My academic advisor and my MUN advisor, Ms. Henderson and Ms. Chhablani respectively, have also been quite formative to me, showing me how to creatively and efficiently approach any obstacles that might come my way.
