Follow-Up Story: Jeffrey Bush competes at State level

We previously reported on senior Jeffrey Bush’s  first place victory in our district’s National Voice for Democracy audio essay contest. Since then, he has gone on to compete at the state level, where he took 3rd place. Earlier this week, Jeffrey had the honor of reading his speech to the Mattydale Veterans of Foreign Wars post and received a standing ovation. His father Brian stated, “They were very touched and we couldn’t be prouder.”
