MPH Senior wins first place

MPH senior Jeffrey Bush recently entered a national audio-essay competition for the VFW Voice for Democracy Contest. He was required to submit a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay on this year’s theme, “American History – Our Hope for the Future.”  His entry won first place in our New York State VFW district and he is moving onto the state competition.  A state-level victory would provide Jeffrey with a minimum $1,000 scholarship and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., where he would compete for the national first-place prize of $30,000.
