MPH Students Participate in Community-Wide Suzuki Concert

MPH Suzuki teacher Beth Scott and MPH parent and Suzuki teacher Heidi Kovarik participated in the annual community-wide Suzuki concert last Saturday.  This event was a fundraiser for the summer music camp scholarship administered by CNYAMT (Central NY Assoc. of Music Teachers).  MPH Suzuki students who performed at this concert were:  Alexa Rose Battaglia, Owen Reckess, Audrey Ko, Anya Reckess, Taeyang Reid, and Adam Sana.  This was by far the largest group of violinists they with whom they had performed!  Students traveled from schools in all areas of Onondaga and Madison Counties, as well as from New Hartford, to participate.  Everyone also enjoyed a video about Dr. Suzuki teaching in Japan, and gathered together after the concert for a potluck luncheon.  Always a fun and motivating annual event!
