7th Grade Chess Player Does it Again!

Seventh Grader Matthew Roberson has been playing chess since 1st grade here at MPH. Over the years, he’s competed in dozens of tournaments, but recently, he’s becoming quite well-known in the chess community for his accomplishments.  Last weekend he competed in the K-12 division at the Ed Smith Fall Scholastic Championship Chess Tournament and took home a first place trophy, an honor he shared with another student. Great job, Matthew!
