MPH Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

Manlius Pebble Hill School will hold its 2012 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 9 in the MPH gymnasium.

Lacrosse legend Mike Hanna, longtime director of athletics at Hobart College, will be the honored guest and a special presenter at the event. Hanna is a 1964 graduate of The Manlius School, one of Manlius Pebble Hill’s predecessor schools.

Among the inductees is Bob Casciola, the All-Ivy Princeton football player and 20-year college coach who led The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame as its president from 1995 to 2005. A 1954 graduate of The Manlius School, Casciola will be recognized as one of the school’s “greatest athletic and life achievers.” Members of the undefeated 1953 Manlius School football team on which Casciola played are also being inducted into the MPH Athletic Hall of Fame.

Tickets to the induction ceremony and dinner are $30 and can be reserved by calling the MPH Alumni Office at 446-2452 or by registering online at www.mph.net/alumni.
